Weekly Special Trains between Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam - Tirupati

According to a press release PR. No. 598/2015-16, dated 25-11-2015, In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run 36 weekly special trains between Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad (18 services) and Visakhapatnam - Tirupati (18 services) as detailed below:-

08501/08502 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Special Trains

Train No. and Schedule: 08501 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 23:00 hrs o­n 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th December, 2015 and 5th, 12th, 19th& 26th January, 2016 (Tuesdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 12:00 hrs on the next day.

Train No. and Schedule: 08502 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16:30 hrs o­n 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th December, 2015 and 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th January, 2016 (Wednesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs on the next day.

Halts: These special trains will stop at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Elluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet stations in both directions.

Composition: These special trains will have 20 coaches  which includes one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.


08573/08574 Visakhapatnam - Tirupati - Visakhapatnam Special Trains


Train No. and Schedule: 08573 Visakhapatnam - Tirupati Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 22:55 hrs on 30th November and 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th December, 2015 and 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th January, 2016 (Mondays) and arrive Tirupati at 13:25 hrs on the next day.

Train No. and Schedule: 08574 Tirupati - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Tirupati at 15:30 hrs on 1st, 8th, 15th , 22nd & 29th December, 2015 and 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th January, 2016 (Tuesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs on the next day.

Halts: These special trains will stop at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, O­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta stations in both directions.

Composition: These special trains will have 20 coaches  which includes one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
