IRCTC, the Indian giant in the field of travel, organises various tours and travels across India and abroad. Bangalore - Mysore - Ooty LTC tour of 6 days and 5 nights is one of them. The details of the tour are given below.

Charge: Basic rate stars at Rs. 9350/- per person.

The tour starts on DAY ONE with the arrival at Bangalore International Airport / Bangalore Railway Station. IRCTC arranges the transfer of tourists from Airport to hotel in Bangalore. Bangalore is also known as Silicon Valley of India where silicon chips are manufactured. Tourists can take some rest after check in to the hotel.

In the afternoon, tourists are taken for half day sightseeing of Bangalore to visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Cubbon Park, ISKCON Temple, Vidhana Soudha. Tourists will also be taken to the Commercial Street in the evening for shopping. Overnight stay and dinner is arranged at the hotel.

Other places in and around Bangalore which the tourists can visit on their own are Wonderla Amusement Park, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Art of Living International Center, Basavanagudi, Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple, Surayanarayana Temple, Infant Jesus Shrine, Game & Entertainment Centres, National Gallery of Modern Art, Phoenix Marketcity, St. Mark's Cathedral, Cubbon Park and Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat.

After breakfast on DAY TWO, the tour moves to Mysore which is at a distance of 145 km, a drive of about four hours. During the journey, you can visit an important historical place, Srirangapatna. After check in to the hotel, visit Mysore Palace and Mysore Zoo.

Other places in and around Mysore which the tourists can visit on their own are Somnathpur Temple, Mysore Maharajah's Palace (Amba Vilas), Namdroling Nyingmapa Monastery, Jain Temple Shravana Belgola, Sri Chamundeshwari Temple, Karanji Lake, Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum, Srikanteshwara Temple, Venugopala Swamy Temple, Chamundi Hill Bull Statue, GRS Fantasy Park, Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, Kukkaranahalli Lake, Railway Museum Mysore and Jaganmohan Palace.

In the afternoon, tourists are taken to the world famous Brindavan Gardens which is spread to over 150 acres. Enjoy the musical fountain and light show of the garden. Arrangement of dinner and overnight stay will be made at the hotel in Mysore.

After breakfast and check out from the hotel on DAY THREE, the tourists are taken to Ooty which is at a distance of 130 km, a drive of about four hours. En-route, the tourists are taken to Madumalai Forest. On reaching Ooty, tourists can take some rest after check in to the hotel. Tourists are free in the evening to do shopping or visit other places. Arrangement of dinner and overnight stay will be made at the hotel in Ooty.

On DAY FOUR after breakfast, tourists are taken for full day sightseeing in Ooty to places like Doddabeta Peak, Botanical Garden and Ooty Lake.

Other places which the tourists can visit in and around Ooty on their own are Nilgiri Mountain Railway, Upper Bhavani Lake, Pykara Lake, Avalanche Lake, Emerald Lake, Sanctuary Avalanche, Shooting Point, Rose Garden, Thunder World, Ketti Valley View, Needle Rock View Point, Thread Garden, Honey & Bee Museum, Lady Canning's Seat and Mukerti National Park and Lake. Arrangement of dinner and overnight stay will be made at the hotel in Ooty.

After breakfast and check out from hotel on DAY FIVE, tourists will be taken to Bangalore. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Bangalore.

The tour ends on DAY SIX. Breakfast will be served at the hotel. After check out from the hotel, the tourists will be transferred to Bangalore International Airport / Bangalore City Railway Station for the return journey.
