CANCELLED TRAINS | RESCHEDULED & DIVERTED TRAINS | HERITAGE TRAINS

Under unavoidable conditions, the trains are generally cancelled (partially/ fully), diverted or re-scheduled. Before starting a train journey, it is better to check for such trains, especially during bad weather conditions and during train accidents.

The above screen gives the various information about the trains. You can also click to know about the fully cancelled trains, partially cancelled trains, rescheduled trains, and diverted trains.

The same screen can also be used to find the running status of trains, We can also make enquiry about Special Trains and Heritage Trains. To clear extra rush of passengers during summer and festival seasons, Indian Railways runs extra trains during these periods.

If we click on Heritage Trains, the following table is displayed which shows the names of the Heritage Trains and the stations between which the trains run. The table is shown below.

The same screen can also be used to make PNR enquiry as well as enquiry about availability of seat/ berth. The same screen can also be used to book seat/ berth and know the running status of a train with respect to any particular station of its route.
